The Challenge

Moving is one of the most stressful life events, yet the UK property market remains geared towards landlords and homeowners, with tenants spending an average of 40 hours finding a home that’s right for them.

Brand new proptech startup, The Urban Collective, was about to revolutionise the rental market for tenants, making the drawn out, painful process of renting quicker, simpler and more enjoyable with a new app and a rental concierge service.

We were asked to launch the new company, raise awareness and drive downloads of the UrbanCo app and create new leads for its ‘Sherpa’ service.

The Results

Our PR campaign doubled downloads for the UrbanCo app, caused organic traffic to the site to shoot up by 50% and instigated new business and networking leads.

Our news generation and profiling programme secured blanket coverage, interviews and reviews across national TV, print and online. We positioned The Urban Collective’s founders as experts and the tenants’ hero, generating regular requests for comment and advice from titles like The Sun, The Memo, Channel 4 News, Time Out and AOL.
